How We Use Videos from YouTube, Vimeo and Other Video Sharing Websites
In addition to using third party creative content for teaching and critical evaluations, we also embed informative and entertaining videos, that we believe are of interest to our visitors, readers and membership. These videos are from video sharing websites (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Pinterest and many others) that are uploaded by third party USERS and creators. The image and video sharing websites we use provide share links to the USER/CREATOR’s images and videos, and give permission to the public to embed and share the images and/or videos hosted on their website on any public or private website, social media account, image sharing platform and by email.

We also make every effort to acknowledge and give thanks to the USER/CREATOR on the image/video sharing account for allowing us to include their creative materials on our website. We strive to attribute the ownership and/or copyright to the proper USER/CREATOR on the image/video sharing website and allow public and private visitors to our website to click a link on the image/video or the text of our post and go to the source image/video sharing website. We will not be held responsible for vetting and/or authenticating the copyright status, permission status and/or the original USER/CREATOR’s right to publish the image or video on the source sharing website. The sole responsibility of the copyright vetting process is the original hosting company of the image/video sharing website or social media platform.

Our main purpose is to share inspiring information that we admire and appreciate in celebration of creative effort and give special recognition to the USER/CREATOR who has allowed us to share their insight and experience with our readers, subscribers and members. We encourage our audience to visit the USER/CREATOR’s video channel, social media platform and/or website, and we do so without compensation. We believe that in sharing knowledge and wisdom with each other, in a public forum, that we can make our world a better place to live.

We do not pretend or suggest that any creative work that is not specifically created by Linda Gale, or an agent of LindaGaleOnCreation.com, is in fact the creative property of Linda Gale. We make every effort to inform our readers of the creator(s) and owner(s) of all copyrighted materials owned by third parties. If you believe that your copyrighted material is being used inappropriately, please contact us using our Contact Form on our website and we will remove all references to your materials immediately upon notification and validation of your ownership.

If you are the USER or CREATOR of any shared video on our website and do not want your video to be shared on our website, or any other website, then you can change the settings to private or unlisted in the control panel of your video hosting website. By making your video unlisted or private, your video will be immediately disabled on all websites that share a link to your video, including ours.
